Argiope aurantia – Black and Yellow Garden Spider

Enric told me about the large spider behind the shed. He didn’t tell me it was a MONSTER!
Female Argiope are the largest spiders most people ever encounter. The body can measure 40 mm (1-1/2″). With legs, 8 cm (3″) in diameter.
The web was very sticky.
