We’ve been hit
You know how it is. All families try to avoid it. But eventually, and USUALLY with crazy temperature changes, it just happens, the very thing you tried to keep away from. You get hit with a BAD COLD and then you pass it on to your dearest loved ones.
Last week at Miquel’s tennis tournament, the temperature dropped from 95 degrees to 75! Not one ray of sunshine, and the wind blew and whipped around us, dressed for summer. The wind chill alone had to be way less than 75.
Needless to say, we’ve been hit. We all have chills and fever and runny noses.
Laura wanted to know when I was going to go to the store for cough medicine.
“As soon as I get over this Nyquil buzz” I told her.
She nodded and smiled, “I understand, Mama”
Awwwwww! Sorry to hear you are all sick. Hope you kick it quick! Take care, ~Wendy
We’ve got “it” too working in a public school, you’d think I’d get
immune, but the kids keep bringing in new bugs. Hope you guys feel
better soon.
Since my wife is off from teaching for a year, we are actually nowhere near as sick as we would normally be at this time. Now that I’ve typed that I expected we’ll be levelled by some random illness tomorrow.
Damn you Murphy!!!
