Vasse Inlet

On our way home from Siesta Park, John and I passed by Vasse Inlet, being told there were a lot of birds there.

Both of us love to photograph and watch birds. We mostly get frustrated with them, but we have fun.

As we rode along, we noticed an island of trees, fill with ibis, cormorants and gulls.

As we were almost ready to leave, we saw a whistling kite.

We left the water birds and drove down further and found a trail to a bird hide. On our way, we met a kangaroo.

The bird hide was fantastic, but most of the birds were far, like spoonbills, and others were too quick, like the swallows.
