Valentines 2014
Valentines was here and by virtue of not having ability to move around, I had to settle for baking John a homemade chocolate cake and making a homemade card for his present.
It was a new recipe for me, and a relatively new brand of cocoa too.
There was no fabulous sunset for our Valentines, so John took me on a ride to see a moon rise and some clouds.
And much later, we went out for fireworks, Chinese New Years in Perth.
It’s year of the horse and this show went over the horse racing track.
They sure had some unique and different ones.
I loved them all of course!
When I show photos to the family, the first year there seemed to be a lot of sunsets…the next a lot of waterfalls, this year will definitely be about fireworks, this is our third set this year so far!
My husband sure knows how to show his firework loving wife a good time.
The show went longer than expected.
So, we’ve celebrated Australia Day, Perth’s festival, and now Chinese New Year along with our Valentines.
