A Post Pandemic Family Reunion
Cousins are both Family and Friends. They are the best of both worlds.
Cousins are both Family and Friends. They are the best of both worlds.
Right after Mom’s funeral, Miquel announced to us all that CVS would be honoring Mom with their contribution to Relay for Life. I was impressed and honored that they would do that. Thank you CVS for this opportunity.
Once again, the holiday air had a difference about it. I think mostly because Mom wasn’t able to handle the whole dinner like in years past. But everyone brought something and contributed.
Thanksgiving as usual was at Linda and George’s house. This year was a little different, Enric and family were not in Wisconsin and could be with us, and George had commitments in Florida, so he and Linda were getting a little taste of what John and I suffer through too...
Dedication As a Baptist church, we do not baptize infants as we believe they need to make their own mind up as to their belief and faith when they are of an age when they understand what it is all about. However, we do dedicate babies to the Lord and...
Saturday we had as much of the family as we could assemble for a swim/picnic day. Not everyone is shown here, for some reason. I know Jenny and Miquel arrived late, when I had baby Harley, I was holding her in the pool and not a time to grab...
Today was the boys’ birthday party. It had been ages since we’d been to the house, it was good to go! Here are some photos of the day: (Click on the images to see them larger) Happy Birthday, Connor and Aiden.
This year Laura completes her last year of high school. We couldn’t let the occasion pass without a party!
With Aiden and Conner’s help, Silas gets introduced to hand-held games. They were just so cute! I had to take some pictures!
Christmas morning I was so fatigued from all the preparations made weeks beforehand and our late night on Christmas Eve, that I wondered how I was going to manage this day, and no matter how hard I tried, I was STILL in my pajamas when people started to arrive! At...
This year for Thanksgiving, ALL of the family was together except Miquel who had to work and Jenny who stayed home. But unlike last year Miranda and Silas were away, as a family, we were all together for at least part of the day. We had a great time, and...
Birthday parties and actual birthdays don’t always match in this family. We celebrated earlier this month Silas’s actual birthday, but today was his birthday party. Miranda decided to have it at Lake Waterford. Sweet for me to think the very park I took Enric and Miranda’s engagement photos at, now...
Today we celebrated Daniel’s birthday. With some fun at the pool… Miranda walks baby Rubà around the pool… …while Aiden does a dive belly flop into the water. Silas preferred to try out a new bike that Connor and Aiden brought. Bikes going down the hill seemed like a fun...
Our Thanksgiving was spent at Linda and George’s. Everything was perfect as usual. Anxious for food? And yes, that is Miquel sitting on poor Jenny’s lap! AFTER the dinner…Jenny and Miquel look done for! Laura is sitll alive though. Some just prefer good old peanut butter and jelly! Celebrating Laura’s...
Today was a birthday party for Aiden and Connor. Blowing out the candles… Eating cake… New Toys! Balloons! More Photos HERE
While Enric, Miranda, and Silas is here, my sister and family brought Aiden and Conner for a visit. Conner got to know the new baby kitty. Silas and the boys had some fun at the pool. Conner and Aiden got to help feed baby kitty Jasper. Jasper is growing up...
This Easter was special having John here with us. First we went to church, and afterwards, we did the typical picture taking in the vestibule. Here is ( l. to r.) Miranda, Laura, and Erin. John joined in with he picture taking, and showed the girls the three beauties he...
Conner also enjoyed his day at the pool. He is such a happy smiley baby. And what is more fun than a wheelbarrow ride?  An after swim cuddle is nice too….
We had the blessing that Linda, Roger, and Kim brought Dennis, Aiden, and Conner to come spend a day at the pool with us. It’s been good to watch these boys grow and thrive. Aiden is like a charging bull, but he is so much fun. He enjoyed his day...
It’s Linda’s birthday! I love my big sister. Today we celebrated. George invited all of us to The Bayou in Havre de Grace. Most of us feasted on crab cakes. They were perfection. We had a great time with little Connot and Aiden. Images of the celebration are...
Well Easter at our house is ever changing of late. We’re getting kind of used to Linda and George not being here, and we have come to realize that Stacey could show up with just about anyone, but for me, this year, Miquel was truly a missing piece. However after...
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, with mom doing an outstanding job of making the house warm, cozy, inviting, and the food amazing. The weather was unusual, as the temperature hit nearly 80 degrees! Then clouds rolled in, the wind blew, and so many of the leaves that looked like they...
