Silas is 4
After an early party, Silas really did turn 4 years old today. Since rarely any in this household simply have a birthday DAY, we usually have more of a birthday week or month, we carried on the celebration with just something small for his actual special day.
It was decided we would have a fire in the back yard with the fire pit. He often likes hot dogs, but since they aren’t the healthiest of foods, mommy doesn’t allow them often. Today was his day and she decided he could have hot dogs cooked over the fire.
No, Enric isn't mad,and Silas was not making it easy for me to get a picture of him holding up four fingers.
It took a little while to get a good fire going.

After the food is done, it was cake time.
Silas was rather spooked by being the center of attention. He's a bit shy.
..and opted to blow out the candles in HIS own way.
He wasn't a bit shy about EATING the cake!
One of the presents was from Nana Sandy, how about that, a book about Australia! Along with a ball that blows up to be the world. Great for playing and singing the Continent song!
