Saga of the Leaves

Living in an acre with a lot of trees just can be intimidating at best this time of year.

Fortunately, with only a few leaves still hanging on to the branches, we got a lot of help today.
Crazy Andrew came and started helping us and the Nutwell family followed. There was a lot of hard work done today, but, a lot of craziness too.

Like this “rake fight”

The job was made so much easier as Mr. John brought this huge blue tarp.

It had to happen, Miquel and Andrew buried in leaves. Laura got dunked a few times, too.

Andrew said…”Who needs modern electrical game toys when we have a tarp with some leaves?” And proceeded to make a jumping game out of it all. Miquel of course did too.

Running down hill over leaves, who knew it could be so much fun?

The boys will be treated after prayer meeting tonight with a nice ham dinner and brownies for dessert!

This likely ends the saga of the leaves.
