Rubi and the Box
Boxes are wonderful for children. Silas found this big box in the yard and worked very hard to bring it into the house. He has pretended so many things with it, his imagination has soared.
Yesterday however, Rubà not shy about climbing up into things in spite of her tiny frame, got into the box and put on a show for us after lunch.
Rubà makes Yaya very nervous when watching her climb up things as she does.
After a lot of silliness Rubi seemed to make a song similar to “Wheels on the bus” as she made the box go open and shut, and swish swish swish.
She was also a bit of a “Jack” in the box, as she would pop out.
There’s no doubt she thrives on attention.
She was excited with her show and it caused her to laugh.
For someone who was soon to get a nap, she was sure charged up.
Love her happy expressions. She’s contagious!
Well truth be told, she never did take that nap. We sure enjoyed watching her have fun with a box!
