Perth Royal Show: For the Dogs
The first time I was ever in Australia, Laura and I missed the opportunity to go to the Perth Royal Show by one day. It was a shame, as John had talked about it to me well before we were married, and it always sounded like a fun event. Now that I have gone, I can honestly say I had the BEST time and took well over a 1000 photos! On my Facebook post, I think I mentioned it was like a state fair, the boardwalk at Ocean City, and a 4th of July combo all in one place! If John would have allowed it, I would have been back the very next day!
After some time to think about it, I realized this wasn’t or couldn’t be just ONE blog post, so I will divide it up into all the categories we saw this great day!
As we went through the line with our IGA tickets, one of the first things we saw going on was a dog show. Now my best friend Chris and her dad used to participate in these competitions all the time, so we took some time to watch.
Dogs were judged on Obedience, Agility and Jumping, and Dances. Here are some of the first day photos of the dogs.
