Perth Royal Show 2014: The Horses
This is one blog post I could go crazy because we saw a lot of horses, and that means we took a LOT of photos of horses too.
Here we are, all ready and excited to see all of the horses.
There are so many breeds represented at the Royal Show, there is just no way to get them all in one blog:

I don’t remember the Andalusian breed last year…
… so it was a nice surprise to see these “señoritas” on these very magnificent horses.
Not Mr. Ed. 🙂 But a prize winning Palomino.
Loved this highlands breed, or just about any white horse I saw there.
There was horse jumping and many activities, and some like this one, you just stood with them…
…or ran with them.
Then there were races where staying on the horse the whole time was not an option. It was like a relay race and there were difficult things to do while on and off the horse.
It was exhausting to just watch the young people and the races lasted a long time. Sometimes the horses weren’t cooperative with some of the things they had to do, so it often became somewhat comical.
Perhaps our favorite horses, the Horsepower horses.
