Perth Royal Show 2014: Odds and Ends
Perhaps it’s because I am not from around here, or perhaps it’s because I haven’t been to a lot of state fairs. Whatever the reason, there are few things that caught my eye….
I guess it’s normal to see something akin to Jason outside of the haunted house.
Or a dinosaur.
Making friends with the emus, that’s surely different.
And so are seeing their babies!
Touching a soft alpaca was special.
I guess on these occasions, there are always crowds. So worth it!
Anyone was invited to play. (I didn’t).
There were blasts from the past…
…if you’re an Aussie that is, I sure didn’t recognize the brands.
There, texts can be sent the old fashioned way….in a telegram!
Chocolate fountain, why yes, thank you.
Cranking up the music…well you have to crank it for real.
Lastly, I just love seeing little Aussie children, all wearing their hats. It’s a strong sun, and very needed, but they sure make the adorable look even cuter!
