Our Christmas Day
Christmas morning I was so fatigued from all the preparations made weeks beforehand and our late night on Christmas Eve, that I wondered how I was going to manage this day, and no matter how hard I tried, I was STILL in my pajamas when people started to arrive!
At that point, I realized I HAD to get it into gear, like it or not, as we had some special things lined up, one being a bit of a surprise for mom.
So, my sister had the idea to get a photo with the whole family, and without mom taking notice, to run the memory card to the computer, print the best image, and place it in a frame she had pre-bought for the occasion.
So we casually tell mom we’re going to get a photo of everyone, she thought nothing of it.
So the photo taken, we ran to the computer, printed one and let it set there waiting to let it air out before framing it.
So, dinner dishes done, we were off to open presents!
Then it was time to rush, put the photo in the frame, wrap it, and give mom one last present.
She couldn’t believe it could happen all that fast….
She was in disbelief, but she loved it, and hung it immediately!
