Old Photos: Experiments with Water

So when I got my first digital camera, I honestly had no idea what I was doing, but that didn’t stop me from trying things. So below are not the best photos, but they were my best attempts with my limited knowledge and equipment. It’s fun remembering some of these old memories that now seem so long ago!

The old water drop experiment
Trying to capture the bottom of the creek in Winters Run, Maryland
Water in its frozen state. Ice on my windshield. Winters in Maryland an be rough!
More frozen state water. Icicles coming down from the roof. This was out our front door.
This girl is tenacious. She thought for a bit and then she just jumped into the waterfall from a rock opposite. (Kilgore Falls)
Leaves in the swirling water
When it rains so much the puddles are large. Then throw a rock into the puddle, get the photo.
Water as a vapor. Fog photo of the woods/
A leaf in the water with bugs on it.
Sisters having a splash.
Another puddle splash
Last one 🙂
Ever notice how the water in the pool seems to hug the body as you swim? I was rather fascinated to see what the camera could capture as Miquel was swimming.
One of my first attempts of water drops on a plant.
When you get that still from something moving.
I was trying to capture movement. I might have pushed too far. Let’s call it artsy.
