New Project: Boz & Oz
It’s been awhile since I have had a new project in the works, and it sure does get the juices flowing when I do get involved with something new. This time even more so, as I have a partner!
I can’t take credit for the concept, as I found the idea at a very interesting blog site called Brit and Grit . They have a style much different than I would, but I could appreciate it and found myself returning to their site often. Brit is in the U.K. and Grit in the U.S.A Across the miles via their blog they share items of interest, and I thought that it was a wonderful concept.
Well John and I have been doing that for years, but in private chats and even a much larger distance, and I thought it would be a good idea for an American and an Australian to copy. This is how Boz and Oz was born. I wanted a catchy name too, but Brit and Grit seemed hard to beat. A nickname for John wasn’t hard, knowing that Australians often refer to Australia as “Oz” and themselves as “Ozzies”, that only left me without a rhyming name. Then I remembered that my Dad, with the surname Bosley (and of course my maiden name) was often called “Boz” at work.
Well John and I might not be as prolific as Brit and Grit, as we both have a lot of things going at once, but I hope you will check the site out and cheer us on.
John and Barb have been having cultural exchanges over tea for nearly 10 years. Now they’re going public. 🙂
Hi Barb,
You are too kind. I’m looking forward to watching Boz & Oz take off.
