Nanny of the Refrigerator
The condescending Nancy Pelosi, speaking on the recently passed health care bill, used dialog as if she were speaking to simple minded folk…
While patting herself on the back, she had the nerve to say, as if ANYONE understands the monster health care bill she and her cohorts just passed:
“It’s like the back of the refrigerator. You see all these wires and the rest. All you need to know is, you open the door. The light goes on.”
This is how she wants to talk down to us?
If someone has a question about the bill, and asks, the BEST she can do is treat those who don’t understand it as if they shouldn’t “worry their pretty little heads over it.”
It even comes close to The Wizard of Oz’s “pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”
So we’re not supposed to worry about a huge spending bill, something that will cost so much, affect us so much, just because SHE says so?
Maybe the simple minded won’t.
The rest of us WILL.
She is so condescending, it’s outrageous. As if anyone can fully understand this 1,017 pages long “alien” form of bureaucratic English.
