Menchies and Lake Waterford
Enric and Miranda wanted a date so that left Laura and I with Silas and RubÃ! Laura has been working and studying a lot and was excited about the time with them. She suggested a trip to Menchies. On a side note, when they built the frozen yogurt place in Lake Shore Plaza, I didn’t think it would do very well, was I ever wrong!

Rubà was quick to get evidence of our outing on her face.

Laura took a photo of Silas and Rubà thanking their Nana for taking them to Menchies.
Then we took them to Lake Waterford Park. Silas impressed us going right to the balance beam and crossing it perfectly.
Rubi tried the slide and it turned out to be a hair-raising experience.
Rubà enjoyed climbing on everything.
Once seated she can look awfully cute.
Then she gets an idea…
…and asks Laura to go see the duckies.

Silas wanted to get close to the ducks.
Walking around the lake, I couldn’t help but notice a small hint of autumn.
There were Touch-me-nots and Queen Anne Lace flowers all around the lake, cute that Silas wanted to pose with some.
I love the picture of Silas with the ducks then the flowers. I must say he goes well with the scenery.
