Laura’s Birthday Weekend
Laura turned 15 today, and this weekend with some events planned and some left to spontaneity turned out perfect.
Laura’s birthday weekend started with one of her favorite things ever, snow.
That night Laura and all her friends and Miquel went to see Twilight
She had a sleepover with Heather and Jenny.
The next day, Laura got her belly-button pierced, a partial gift from Heather. I don’t have a photo available, and I hesitate to put one on my blog, but Lord knows, she sure has flashed it to everyone. 🙂
That night, Miranda spent the night and the girls watched Hitchcock movies all night long.
After church, (yes she went to church), Laura came home to a bedroom full of Balloons…

We weren’t able to find an ice cream cake that Laura wanted, but I think we found something better, an ice cream cake from The Daily Scoop in Pasadena . All of their ice creams are homemade, and it’s the best I have ever had. Laura found one with polka dots that was decorated perfectly.

Laura opened her presents from her Mama. One Across the Universe DVD and one iHome , which was quickly hooked up and running.
Anna and Miquel eat the ice cream cake. Anna gave Laura a bagful of thoughtful presents!
