Lake Waterford Park with Silas and Rubi
Rubí kinda decided for us we should go to Lake Waterford. I love a little lady who knows her own mind, and she definitely knows what she likes.
We started at the playground. Silas tries to be a helpful brother as Rubi was having trouble.
Troubles are mostly just a challenge to Rubi and I just love to watch and admire her determination.
A game of chase broke out and I noticed many people were watching.
I just loved the looks of pure glee on both their faces.
Rubi didn’t even seemed to mind Silas catching up to her.
Laura announced it was time to leave the playground area and go to the lake. Silas climbed a mountain on his way there.
It was a beautiful day to visit the lake.
We even got to meet some baby geese at the park. Silas was quickly taught not to disturb them, as Mr. Goose was close by.
Rubi specifically asked to walk to the bridge, which we did. I had to wonder what was going on inside Silas’s head as he looked out.
Making our way to the car, we stopped to see the tree…
…that was struck by lightning and the story goes it lost its bark.
It was then time to make music on this bamboo.
Not sure what was on Rubi’s mind when she perched on top of this stump.
Maybe she was a queen, or a WoW mage…
…how sweet to have a brother to jump on you and bring you back to reality?
