Imagine… a John Lennon Doll
I wonder how John Lennon would feel, 25 years after his life was cut short, about this new 18 inch ‘action figure’ with motion activated sound?
Coming in Spring 2006, this is the first officially licensed John Lennon Figure ever. He will “speak” authentic John Lennon phrases and is known as “The New York Years” John Lennon.
All profits will go to Yoko Ono.
So what do you think, a collectors item tributing an influential musician, or is it another way for Yoko to cash-in as suggested HERE ?
John Lennon, modestly the best musician/artist of our time. Obviously he’s not profiting from this doll. Someone is going to, why not Yoko? Cut her some slack in that. Her art wasn’t in music, that’s for sure!

I was wondering out loud what would John Lennon think.
Artistically at least, the doll has a decent looking replica of him.
So many of these just don’t quite capture the person.
John would have hated this it is tasteless in the extreme
