If My Cell Phone Told the Story – Coming to Maryland

It was time for tearful good-byes. My heart was never going to be ready for it, but I wasn’t mentally prepared either. The day to leave came so fast. It was time to go back to my other home in Maryland.

This is going to be my life.

Almost 6 hour flight to Sydney. Flew with Qantas, but had United 747 for the flight to San Francisco. I was in Sydney for 8 hours. So far the trip was 14 hours, and I hadn’t even left Australia yet.

Laura would have loved Sydney airport, it was like an airport combination shopping mall.

San Francisco Airport. Things went smooth. Flight was 14 hours, but thankfully I slept some. Wait in SFO was 5 hours for a now total of 33 hours traveling.

Didn’t sleep a lot of the way on this leg of the journey, so drink, puzzle book tells the story.

5 More hours and the total travel time give or take was 38 hours.

I slept nearly the whole next day!

I am thankful for a boring  and uneventful trip…for loved ones around the world…and to my husband who is patient and does all he can to make me happy, even if it’s CRAZY, like getting married and continent hopping for the rest of our lives!
