Gardasil The HPV Vaccine

I infuriate doctors.

Not on purpose. Often simply because I’ve done my research and don’t buy everything they’re trying to sell me.

Not all dislike me, many do like me for the same above reason. I go in there, I read, learn, and once we’re in agreement on what are the next steps, I am a very good patient, doing my part to get well.

So when my daughter’s pediatrician told me that ‘Laura was way overdue to have her HPV vaccine and let’s do it now,’ I refused. She was frustrated in our discussion that was getting her no where.

I didn’t say no because I had researched the topic completely, in fact I hadn’t done any digging into the topic. I said no because I am wary of new things. It was being advertised often on the television, it was trendy, and those two things bothered me. I said no because my daughter assured me that it wouldn’t be necessary.

I  actually said ‘no’ to having it done at that moment. I agreed with the doctor to consider it, read the material, and it gave me time to reflect on my own cervical cancer scare…

…I was a young married woman with one child, and was quickly diagnosed and taken off to a then new procedure, laser surgery. A very little man operated on me, a name I won’t soon forget, Dr. Lopez at St. Joseph’s hospital. Since the surgery was new I had to give permission to be televised so that other doctors could learn. Gee. None of that soon forgotten.

In spite of that, after some discussion with Laura and Miranda, some reading, I had to tell that persistent doctor, NO, again. Among other reasons, she was consistently making visits to her office unpleasant. Between the doctor and the commercials flooding the television, they made me feel like a bad mother.

Now, when my children were small, I routinely let them have all the tried and true necessary vaccines. Even in the time when internet wasn’t in homes as it is now, I had done some homework. We were lucky to live practically next door to the library. I was particular where some of the vaccines came from, and trusted my doctor with them.

Now I know a few friends that were happy to have their daughters get the HPV Vaccine and it was done and without dire consequences, however, yesterday my daughter shared an article which mentioned some newsworthy effects from the lead developer of the HPV Vaccine. Her look as she shared it was like, “See? You’re not a bad mother!”

 

Lead Developer Of HPV Vaccines Comes Clean, Warns Parents & Young Girls It’s All A Giant Deadly Scam

Dr. Diane Harper was the lead researcher in the development of the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccines, Gardasil™ and Cervarix™.  She is now the latest in a long string of experts who are pressing the red alert button on the devastating consequences and irrelevancy of these vaccines.  Dr. Harper made her surprising confession at the 4th International Converence on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia.  Her speech, which was originally intended to promote the benefits of the vaccines, took a 180-degree turn when she chose instead to clean her conscience about the deadly vaccines so she “could sleep at night”.  The following is an excerpt from a story by Sarah Cain:

“Dr. Harper explained in her presentation that the cervical cancer risk in the U.S. is already extremely low, and that vaccinations are unlikely to have any effect upon the rate of cervical cancer in the United States.  In fact, 70% of all HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment in a year, and the number rises to well over 90% in two years.  Harper also mentioned the safety angle.  All trials of the vaccines were done on children aged 15 and above, despite them currently being marketed for 9-year-olds.  So far, 15,037 girls have reported adverse side effects from Gardasil„ alone to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), and this number only reflects parents who underwent the hurdles required for reporting adverse reactions.  At the time of writing, 44 girls are officially known to have died from these vaccines.  The reported side effects include Guillian Barr Syndrome (paralysis lasting for years, or permanently  sometimes eventually causing suffocation), lupus, seizures, blood clots, and brain inflammation. Parents are usually not made aware of these risks.  Dr. Harper, the vaccine developer, claimed that she was speaking out, so that she might finally be able to sleep at night. “About eight in every ten women who have been sexually active will have HPV at some stage of their life,” Harper says. “ormally there are no symptoms, and in 98 per cent of cases it clears itself.  But in those cases where it doesn’t, and isn’t treated, it can lead to pre-cancerous cells which may develop into cervical cancer.”

No matter what you find out there pro and con on this subject, I can guarantee you none of the reading material that my daughter’s doctor gave us included those numbers above.
