Father’s Day in September
In Australia, Father’s day is in September.
So is the Kings Park Wildflower Festival. Why not combine the two? That is what Naomi and I had decided.
Fist John shows us all just how nifty his old camera case is. It doubles as as something to stand on so you can be higher than all the other photographers.
Then there is me, one last look, just to make sure I don’t look like a person who is in agony from a really bad sprained ankle.
After lunch, first to see at Kings Park were some bell flowers.
And of course, multiple stops to photograph pink fairy orchids.

This one is always a favorite for me year after year, the color, and today even an ant posed with it.
Jamie and I both stopped and paused to photograph this one.
