So titled for the flowers, and the SONG .
Last weekend we went again, doing orchid and wildflower hunting. We were hoping that the Everlasting Daisies would be open to photograph.
Our first stop had everlastings but it had been cloudy all morning, and they were closed.
Some wanted to open, like this patch by the termite mound.
A short drive down the road there was a large patch with a few open.
Some were sure giving it their best try.
Quite a few were opening here and playing with the other flowers. Loved the mix.
So then we get to Wongan Hills. They always have everlastings…well, because they plant them.
I didn’t care, I was so excited to see OPEN everlastings. They are such lovely gems.
And what do you do when you see so many everlastings?
Plop down in front of them and get a selfie of course.
Or two.
🙂
Then we drove a little longer….
…and it the everlastings jackpot.
As far as the eye could see, everlastings.
It was a shame that it was so late, we were losing light.
Hope to go back there. With lots of open flower and daylight.
I LOVE everlastings!
