Dwellingup
Weekends are kind of like spin the wheel and see where we go this time.
Dwellingup became our next destination.
Dwellingup is an Aboriginal name said to mean “place of nearby water”. Which I will buy that, there was lovely water ‘nearby’ for sure.
This apparently is the “Sleepercutter” the starting and finishing point for the Dwellingup Federation Walk Trails.
The roads there and around there were kinda fun, but I got nervous when we got to this bridge and the truck looked wider than the bridge!
We made it through just fine, good thing there was only us on the road.
We then arrived to the many places of nearby water.
This wasn’t a warm day by any means, and there was one brave child swimming in it.
Good place for a photo together.
Walk on the rocks while recovering from this sprain? I don’t think so. I sort of made it so far and sat down. Left John to it.
I will just sit here in the warm sun.

Back on the road, I am getting kind of used to seeing the dust of the road kicked up in the side mirror.
So these roads are my new life.
The scenery, through the trees, was nice.
I got to see my first Grey Currawong.
And as always, our time together is magic.
