Christmas Eve

After being sick and the children gone to Wisconsin, this year Christmas didn’t seem to have the same sparkle…Mom even said it was dull as dishwater around the house. We did all the same things as usual: shopping, baking cookies, candy, decorating, Christmas village…

Then we went to the Christmas Eve service at Anchor Baptist Church, then it seemed like Christmas. Music like none other this side of heaven.

First up, Levi. This was the little guy who often created a stir at Anchor?

Doris was next. I always get excited to hear her play the flute:

This violinist is so impressive, we are treated to his music so often, he always amazes!

Sweet to see Cammie, she is starting to remind me of her remarkable Mom so much!

O Holy Night has to be one of my most favorite Christmas Carols, this couple does it so well.
