So when you take to the country in search of wildflowers and the clouds hide the sun and make the flowers you want to see close up, you make a U-turn and go back to Bindoon to the Chittering Wildflower Show. Or at least that’s what we did for a short while.
Kind of exciting to see them altogether like this.
I am guessing we will see a few displays like this in the upcoming Royal Show.
This one we had seen in the wild, was nice to have a name attached to it. Nature doesn’t come with labels. 🙂
Dwarf Buchardia
This one is called a Basket Flower
Red Beak Orchid
Fabaceae
There wasn’t a lot there. But that was OK we were anxious to get back to the road in hopes the sun was shining on our Everlastings.
And we got a chance to pet this adorable 9 month old, all cradled, sleepy, and happy. He and his sister had been orphaned and were being well taken care of.
