Bunker Bay
After our rock climbing and wildflower finding adventure at Castle Rock, we went a few minutes down the road to Bunker Bay.
Long before we arrived in Australia, I mentioned to John that I’d love to see beaches with rocks, which is kind of unfamiliar to me in Maryland. Castle Rock sure had that requirement, and next was Bunker Bay.
Bunker Bay has a gently shelving shoreline of fine white sand. The north-facing Bunker Bay beach is lapped by turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and protected by the Cape Naturaliste promontory.
Laura found a rock in the water and posed for a photo to make it look like she was walking on the water.
One thing that is special about this beach, are the trees. Lovely Melaleuca trees.
