Autumn Snow
The trees still have red leaves on them and the weather paid no mind to the calendar at all, and the snow fell. We were only supposed to get about 2 inches, but by night, I would say closer to 4 fell here in Pasadena.

Mom said that it was reported, statistically it often snows on December 5th, so I guess we don’t have to panic that our global warming is really global ice age.
We spent the day cozy in the house with baby Cameron, who didn’t quite know what to make of the falling white stuff, he much preferred singing Beatles with Aunt Barb and Laura, “She loves you yeah yeah yeah.” He can barely talk yet, but he knew when to chime in with the “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.”
Heather walked over and the girls had fun.

A lot of snow, though, fell at night….
(Our scene out front down the driveway, with the lamp light by the road.)
Just really puts one in the mood for winter and Christmas…
🙂
The goofy thing is, that after all this snow and sub freezing temperatures, they are predicting 60’s for the weekend.
I don’t think it’s global warming or global cooling at all…it’s global confusion!
🙂
It snowed here too, sticking around for the first time (it snowed thanksgiving but didn’t stick). I love snow. It’s cold though. And I’m a transplanted Californian: this’ll be my first full winter out here, and my first with a car.
I love snow.
Love the night pictures of the snow on the tree and the gold tinted night scene. Very peaceful mood in both shots. Very nicely captured!
Do you know what kind is that cute chubby bird?
Weather is funny. I never would have thought we were going to already have 5 snows with accumulation as we had some unusual warm spells recently Global warming. Bah humbug! 😉
I know the weather is changing, but I also know who is in control of the weather! And He will take care of it all in His Time.
