After a sweet, lovely, calm time at Herron Point , we headed back north to make our way home, but as always, looking for a spot to see a sunset. We decided to take a dirt track to Austin Bay.
It was a bit of a wild ride without much of a view, but I could see at the end of a tree created tunnel that a perfect sunset was getting ready for us.
We parked the truck and dared not go all the way in. I followed John for the best places to step to go forward.
Loved the reflections
Besides the beauty, there was a stillness and a quiet that I can’t even describe.
The setting didn’t disappoint with adding intensity.
As soon as the sun went down, we both decided to get back on that dirt track to the main road while we still had some light. At the end of the dirt track, I asked John to stop, I wanted to admire this farm with all its twilight colors.
Safe at the end of the dirt tract, we could linger awhile. So glad we did. These type of views make me happy.
