Last year, for our 3 year wedding anniversary, we were far apart.
This made our 4 year anniversary extra special. So much so, that we packed a lot into the one day, and I will blog about it over the next few blogs instead of just one.
We decided to go down south, around the area where we got married.
Heading south, on the highway, this was a silly start to our day. The truck, I suppose a butcher by trade, has a sense of humor.
Before we get started though, as with any trip, time to visit the ladies room….
…and it occurs to me that the walls are decorated quite nicely, but I think I have seen way too many adult coloring books, as I had a sudden urge to color the walls.
Back on the beach, I insist on an anniversary selfie.
Dedicated to his craft, John climbs up the wall to get a photo of the Busselton Jetty.
It’s kinda of hard to get the whole jetty in one shot.
View from above on Google Maps: Busselton Jetty is the longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere, stretching almost 2 km out to sea from the town of Busselton. The underwater observatory near the end makes it even extra special.
We walked around a bit and I just marveled how clear the water is.
Something I watched with interest, how I am seeing people paddle around the water on stand up boards.
