Aftermath
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee” (Psalm 56:3).
The Bible verses you learn as a child, really come back to you as an adult at the most appropriate times.
Yesterday, an explosive storm hit Pasadena area. I will admit, I was afraid. We are thankful that we are ok, the house is still standing, but our yard took quite a hit. I did trust in the Lord during all of it, but was most happy when everyone was home and safe.
Laura got some photos (I didn’t). I was pretty shook up and Laura is more confident with her camera in the rain than I am with mine.
I was not surprised when a Facebook link led me to a meteorologist’s page saying that this storm was a possible tornado.
Oh boy…it looks awful.
Thank the Lord everyone is safe.
Love and hugs,
Yikes!! Looks like you guys really took a hit! So glad that you’re all safe and sound. I hate storms! Just ask Miranda – I used to take the kids down to the basement a lot during the summer!!
Hugs,
Sandy
Yes Petra, it was rather awful.
