Adventures at the Mall
With the grandchildren.
Which is the part that made it an adventure.
Apparently the first thing the children had to do was get their photo taken with a moose.
I am not sure why, but I didn’t think we were ever going to get Silas out of the Bass Pro Shop.
Rubi liked it there too, especially watching the fish.
We couldn’t help but chuckle at Rubí’s Vanna White interpretation of showing off the fish.
As if the Bass Pro shop wasn’t difficult enough to leave, the next obstacle to shopping was the LEGO store.
With the promise of lunch, we finally got them out of there.
But the Cheesecake Factory is right next to the Casino…we had to get the children past that first!
When we got seated at a table, I had to laugh at Silas who exclaimed, “I really like this place, they give you TWO forks!”
Rubí had her own idea what to do with the two forks.
Mmmm…it’s not often they get soda to drink. I liked that the waiter wisely brought water in a kid’s cup when they finished their soda.
Next was playing at the Maryland themed child’s play area. Rubí likes the Oriole.
Next was cotton candy, or as Pop Pop called it, Fairy Floss.
So they ate their treats and watched coins go round and round and down.
This post makes it look easy, but they kept us hopping, but it was so worth it.
