A Walk in the Bush
Once again, the heat welcoming us back from winter with a passion, we managed to go for a walk in the bush before it was going to be too hot to do anything outdoors.
Don’t let the shade fool you, it was getting plenty warm in the sun.
Even flowers that are dried to me are lovely. Dasypogon bromeliifolius Common name: Pineapple Bush
Banksias on one tree in all different stages.
Calytrix
Nuytsia floribunda is a hemiparasitic plant found in Western Australia. The species is known locally as the Christmas Tree, displaying bright orange flowers during the Christmas season.
We found some lovely Verticordia in the bush..
…the John drove me where there was a LOT of it.
I always loved walking the the woods back home when I was little, I never dreamed I would some day be on the other side of the world bushwalking, did I?
