Once again, the heat welcoming us back from winter with a passion, we managed to go for a walk in the bush before it was going to be too hot to do anything outdoors.
Don’t let the shade fool you, it was getting plenty warm in the sun.

Nuytsia floribunda is a hemiparasitic plant found in Western Australia. The species is known locally as the Christmas Tree, displaying bright orange flowers during the Christmas season.
We found some lovely Verticordia in the bush..
