A Little Ironic

I called Best Buy today regarding the status on the repair of my laptop. (grrrr…don’t get me started, it’s been over two weeks now).

Anyhow, I listened to my options and pushed “4” for the Geek Squad.
Them: Hello, Geek Squad.

Me: Hi, I am calling about the status on the repair of my laptop.

Them: Sorry Ma’am, I can’t look that up for you, all our systems are down. We crashed.

Me: But….but…you’re the Geek Squad.

Them: (Laughing)

Me: Don’t you think it’s a little ironic?

Them: Yes, it’s a little ironic. Can you call back later? Perhaps we’ll be up and running by then.

They were indeed up and running later.

By the way, “any day now” on my laptop.
