So the drive back home was in and out of wet weather, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying our first weekend outing and taking in all the Western Australian scenery.
Oh that Western Australia red dirt.
Skies as big as you can see.
Fields of canola…Did you know that it has a very strong odor?
Of all the bird photos I have missed, this falcon taken in an instant from a highway speed moving vehicle turns out sharp. Go figure.
Passing by the galahs on a farm.
Since there was water everywhere, the swans and ducks were happy.
Windmills such as this, aren’t uncommon to see.
At some moments the sky was quite ominous.
But soon enough blue skies would appear.
And then the rainbow touches the canola fields.
We also saw the last afternoon light touch the gum trees I’ve come to love so much.
A drive in the Western Australian countryside, some might say it’s boring, I find every mile fascinating.
